Microchips

For some time now microchips have not only been used in products and pets as in the past years but also on humans. However, a lot of people are still in two minds about whether the use of microchips on humans is safe or not and, moreover, if by getting a microchip implanted under their skin, their right to privacy will be violated. Personally, I am in favor of this new technology.
Well, to begin with, microchips provide a fail-safe way of verifying one's identity; therefore, they seem to be more convenient than the usual ID cards. Furthermore, microchips will be implanted, which means that people will not have to worry anymore aboyt forgetting their cards, as they will always have them with them  and there is also no chance of losing them. Another positive point is that, if we introduce microchips as a way of verification, then new technology shall be introduced, as well. For example, automatic security doors could be designed, as keys will no longer be necessary.
To a certain extent microchips will also help to decrease the rate of crimes, as it will be almost impossible for thieves to commit fraud because each microchip is unique and no copies can be created. Nevertheless, there are some people who believe that the chip could be a health hazard as it will actually be inside us. However, scientists assure us that the chips are a hundred percent safe and nothing can happen to our health or body.
All in all, an introduction of microchips strikes me as a good idea, since people will no longer worry about cards and the crime rate will be lowered.
