We are students of C2 level in Maria Markaki school. At first, we published book reviews on this blog, which is why it used to be called 'Literature Blog', but all our latest posts have to do with the ECPE/ CPE exams. Thank you for dropping by!

The mobile phone as the digital wallet of the future
Is what the video shows feasible? How would you feel if you could use your mobile phone in this way?
The mobile phone may become the best way to pay in the future due to the fact that it is not necessary for us to carry out cash, check or cards. Payments will become in easy way but is it safe? It will probably be perilous because if somebody steal your mobile phone, it will cause troubles to you. So, I believe that it is a double edged sword and we have to be very careful.
Bravo Maraki for leaving the comment! Sorry again for not picking up my phone, I was cycling as I have already told you! I hope you did not want to ask a question about the blog, eh? I can see you did perfectly fine on your own, though!
Yes, you are partially right. Payments will be made very easily, but safety is a big issue. If somebody steals the phone, then problems will arise! Being careful is the key, as you have pointed out.
I agree with you. Ηere arises the problem of security, that is very important for all of us. The prospect of paying by mobile phone in the future, is interesting and in some cases it could be very helpful, but personally i prefer paying in the traditional way. I think that is the most safe and quick way in all such transactions. We can also better control our costs, by paying in the way we all know, in contrary with this new technological idea, because if we don't see what we spend and how much we spend, we squander much more that we can or that we want..
Yes, traditional payments are the safest, but not necessarily the quickest! However, you are right in saying that we have control over the amount of money we spend when we pay by cash in contrast to using electronic methods.
We have witnessed how mobile phones and the simple functions of voice and SMS can empower citizens and affect the way citizens interact with each other and with the society as whole. It's amazing that government institutions have adopted the idea of using mobile phones as a tool for service delivery ,a way to communicate with the citizens and a way to pay for their bills. My,belief is that mobile phones can become the most useful gadget for the individual because of all those things thay are able to do.On the other hand,it is also a very dangerous application to be carried due to the fact that it can be stolen. If that happens, then the thief can stole a large amount of money from the person that was robbered.(There must be enough spelling and grammatical mistakes, but I tried.)
Your comment is superb Angelikoula, a huge bravo for making the effort to write it!!! You are right in saying that if a person gets robbed, the thief can steal data and money, but the same goes for our wallet, credit cards and so on. As you have said, it is amazing, indeed, that technology has so many applications in our lives. Can you think of some other innovative ways we use technology daily?
Everywhere we go technology is being used. Technology affects our daily lives in everything that we do, it saves time, opens a gate to new experiences, and makes traveling to halfway around the world easy. Technology reduces the time it takes to perform everyday tasks. Daily things such as doing the dishes have been reduced from hours to twenty minutes with the invention of the automatic dishwasher. New technologies have even reduced the time it takes to read books when you can download the audio of any website including Facebook. At your jobs technology has even eliminated many of the hand labors of assembling parts and creating a very large quantity of product the same way a human could do but,ten times faster.
