On success, what we know, who we know, and luck

In preparing for essay topic 2, Test 3 in Book 1 of the ECPE Tests, you need to consider at least 2 things:

1) What is success?

2) What is luck?

Note how Professor Wiseman stresses the importance of making good use of opportunities. This will undoubtedly include acknowledging the value of networking, and drawing on one's acquaintances to achieve goals. In other words, the importance of "connections" should not be underestimated.
