-When is the death penalty the right answer? Does it constitute an efficient crime deterrent or should it be abolished?
In my view, death penalty ought not to be used as the ultimate punishment , even if the convict has killed more than one time. In addition, I think that no one has the right to take another person's life because then they should also be considered as murderers.
So for me the death penalty could never be the right answer.In fact it would be better if it would be abolished as it does not affect the crime rate at all.
Lots of people would agree with you Mary; I think I would be one of them! Phew, so many controversial issues nowadays! They can easily overwhelm us, riight? :-)
